The Foundation

Growing up in the Lake District, I was surrounded by a philosophy of nature and simplicity. These influences continue to shape my design DNA today. My love for craft was inherited from, my Swedish grandmother, whose hand-woven rugs taught me that the longevity of a piece depends entirely on the precision of its construction. That early appreciation for craft is why I focus so heavily on technical integrity today; I believe a garment is only as good as the blueprint behind it.

The Evolution | London to Hong Kong

After five years in London’s fast paced fashion industry, I moved to Hong Kong seeking a fresh perspective. I expected a concrete jungle, but instead found a city where nature, beaches, and urban energy coexist seamlessly.

This shift became a reminder that life is short and that we have the ability to build our own freedom. Establishing Alitkit Studio allowed me to create a practice that prioritises the important things in life without losing my craft within the fashion industry.

The Vision

Working remotely with global clients has allowed me to reclaim the creative space that first drew me to this industry. My practice sits where technical integrity meets creative vision.

While my current studio in Hong Kong is designed for digital and technical development rather than hands-on making, that maker's mindset informs every decision I make. I always think with the perspective of a maker, focusing on the technical precision required for Tailoring and RTW. My goal is to bring a vision to life by ensuring every collection is functional, beautiful, and built for longevity.
