Clean, thoughtful design that bridges creativity with technical precision.

BIO / ALICE ROSE KITCHING

I’m a freelance multi-product fashion designer based in Hong Kong. With a background in London’s fashion industry, I combine technical precision with a maker’s mindset to create designs that are thoughtful, functional, and built to last.

My strengths lie in CADs, tech packs, pattern cutting, and sewing. What excites me most is the process of creating, watching something transform from an idea on paper to a finished piece you can hold and wear. The beauty lies in the process of making, and I love seeing a design come to life step by step.
Growing up in the Lake District with a Swedish mother, I was surrounded by nature and simplicity, influences that continue to shape my approach to design today. That love of craft comes from my Mormor, my Swedish grandmother, who wove beautiful hand-crafted rugs that remain some of my favourite pieces. In a world of mass production, I believe it’s the unique, well-made creations that people hold onto, the ones that carry stories.
After five years in London’s fast-paced fashion industry, I felt the need for a fresh start. When the chance came to move to Hong Kong, I saw it as an opportunity to create my own path and reconnect with the creative side that first drew me to design. Now, I’m building a practice that combines technical precision with a maker’s mindset, supporting clients worldwide while also carving out space to return to hands-on making.
